SHA formed out of a desire to collaborate with others.  It is our desire to join a process where a collective vision is discovered and implemented by pulling from the best of everyone.  We seek to be integral members of each project team, bringing decades of combined technical and design experience.  We truly believe the best projects come from teams with a strong collective vision and collaborative approach.

We want to make positive impacts on multiple levels.  Locally, we believe in supporting the community where we live and work.  We strive to bring positive change to the communities we design for, as they can connect people, cultures, and the environment at a regional scale. At the global level, we seek to be better residents of the world through protecting our environment and natural resources.

In a nutshell, we want to make places better.  Better for people, better for communities, and better for the environment.

With over 20 years of landscape architectural work, Scott brings a variety of experiences in site design and landscape management. His career has taken him from small intimate garden design to leading teams through large high profile projects. His greatest strength is with people, in that he looks to partner a client's vision with his design and technical expertise to transform their vision into reality.  Scott is also well known for his ability to develop Integrated Water Conservation strategies for large commercial facilities.
